About

It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, while pushing a skateboard in Jackson, MS started this whole thing.  After hearing that record, something clicked.  Hip Hop.  Snuff started writing rhymes and free styling in college, during which, he met Matt Strange and DL the Professor, and began conspiring with what would become No Particulars.  The three began formulating a sound and writing songs.  No Particulars, We Are a Movement dropped in 2001.  During this time, Snuff participated in weekly open mikes at Seven All Arts Cafe.  No Particulars went on to do multiple live performances before Snuff moved to Portland, OR in 2002.

Snuff continued to write out West, and purchased a pair of turn tables.  Under the moniker Cooley Spins Wax, he began spinning out, and scored residencies at The Tube and Doug Fir.

Snuff returned to Jackson in 2013.  He immediately reunited with his co -conspirators, No Particulars, to begin work on a new project.  In the course of this time, Snuff decided to release some old and new material as a solo project, I Didn't Quit My Day Job.  A few local performances, with a record release party at Offbeat, and here we are.
